Summer Documentary style wedding at The Vintage Venue in Miami, Florida

Matheus & Nicole’s Documentary style wedding at The Vintage Venue in Miami, Florida was a dream come true! the air during the wedding day was filled with excitement, joy, love, and the weather was just perfect!

I remember that during getting ready photos, there was a sense of peace and calmness among the chaos. I could tell that the couple were both nervous but at the same time they had this feeling of peace.

The venue is in the style of a beautiful barn with plenty of photo ops surrounding it. The ceremony was in this beautiful pavilion located outdoors with a long aisle for the bridal party to walk on towards the ceremony while guests greeted them. It lended itself perfectly for the documentary style of photographing that I specialize in shooting.

Documentary style Ceremony at The Vintage Venue in Miami, Florida

During the ceremony, Matheus’ dad was full of emotion when he saw his son marrying the love of his life. The Nicole’s dad embraced Matheus as he walked his daughter to her future husband. The ceremony was full of teary eyes, cheers, and joy as the bride and the groom both said “I do” and began their life together.

Right after the ceremony ended, loved ones gathered around Matheus and Nicole and hugged them and celebrated together.

Dad gave his newlywed daughter a hug and I could tell that he has never been happier for his daughter.

Bridesmaids gathered around the bride and started jumping and screaming in joy for her friend who just got married and got her happily ever after moment

Right after the ceremony, we took bridal party photos and I captured this sweet moment in true documentary style.

Couple Portraits

We took advantage of the whole venue and took photos in different scenes. one of my favorite scenes was the hanging frame with Matheus & Nicole in the frame. It looks so cool and definitely one of the more interesting shots of the day.

I’m also a big fan of B&W shots so I always include one or two in my portraits.

Reception at The Vintage Venue in Miami, Florida

Matheus and Nicole had their reception in this beautiful rustic room with very warm, cozy colors and a wall that said “Happily Ever After”

They spent the rest of the night listening to loved ones give speeches, danced with their parents, went around the room and greeted every guest, cut and ate the cake, and finally danced the night away towards their Happily Ever After…
